E-Signature Experience

E-Signature Experience

Learn what your customers see when signing a quote or invoice and how it is stored when e-signature is enabled.

Overview

When you send a quote or invoice with e-signature enabled, your customer will receive a link to review the document and provide their signature.

The customer view is designed to make it easy for customers to review the details, download a PDF copy, and sign electronically.

1

Open the Quote or Invoice

Your customer clicks the link provided in the email or message they receive. This takes them to a customer-facing view of the quote or invoice, where they can review the document details before signing.

2

Review the Details

Customers can review the information included on the quote or invoice, including the services, pricing, and other relevant details. If work order photos or notes have been included, these may also be available for the customer to review as part of the document.

3

Download a PDF Copy

Customers can download a PDF copy of the quote or invoice for their records. This makes it easy to save or share a copy of the document before completing the signature process.

4

Sign the Document

When the customer is ready to approve the quote or acknowledge the invoice, they can complete the e-signature directly from the customer view. The customer will be prompted to provide their signature and complete the signing process.

5

Complete the Signature

After signing, the customer can submit their signature to complete the process. Once submitted, the signed document can be retained for your records and used as confirmation that the customer has reviewed and signed the quote or invoice.

6

Signature Is Stored on the Document

Once submitted, the customer's signature is saved and stored directly within the quote or invoice. You can open the quote or invoice at any time to view the signature as part of your records.
