Geo-Fencing for Work Orders

Learn how geofencing will work for Work Orders in Lessen Pro.

📍 Coming Soon: Geofencing for Work Orders Geofencing helps verify that technicians are near the service location when checking in and out of a Work Order. Lessen Work Orders will require geofencing. Self-managed Work Orders can turn it on optionally.

Enable Geofencing

Geofencing settings can be managed from Business Settings.

1	Navigate to Business Settings.

2	Select the Geofencing tab.

3	Toggle geofencing On for self-managed Work Orders. ​ Lessen Work Orders are required and do not need to be toggled.

4	Select your preferred geofencing radius for self-managed Work Orders. ℹ️ The default radius is 0.5 miles from the service location. Available radius options will range from 0.5 miles to 5 miles.

💡 Important Information Geofencing is required for Lessen Work Orders Geofencing is optional for self-managed Work Orders Businesses can choose the geofencing radius for self-managed Work Orders in Business Settings
