Overview

The asset management workflow guides technicians through identifying, documenting, and completing service for equipment associated with a Lessen work order. It appears automatically after tapping Begin Service when the work order includes an applicable service combination.

Check Into Asset

Select the asset being repaired, replaced, or investigated. Choose from one of the following options:

Choose from the list of assets already associated with the service location.

βž• Add a New Asset

If the asset is not in the list, add it using one of these methods:

  • Scan the equipment nameplate β€” AI-assisted capture auto-fills asset details
  • Manually enter Manufacturer, Model Number, and Serial Number

Upload Before Service Photos

Capture and upload all required before-service photos of the asset and surrounding area before beginning work.

Complete Additional Service Questions (if applicable)

Depending on the service combination, additional questions may appear before work begins. Answer all required fields before proceeding.

Select a Check-Out Option

Select the applicable check-out option based on the outcome of the service. Workflow behavior may vary depending on the option selected.

All services are finished. The work order can proceed to completion.

Additional work has been identified. Create a proposal before closing the job.

πŸ”„ Return Trip Needed

Work cannot be completed this visit. A follow-up visit must be scheduled.

Check-In to Related Assets

Indicate whether any additional related assets were involved in the service.

If applicable, select another asset using the same process as Step 1:
  • Select from existing assets at the location
  • Scan QR code if available
  • Add a new asset if the required asset is not in the list

Complete Related Asset Questions and Upload After-Service Attachments

Provide any additional asset details required, which may include:

  • Asset condition
  • Repair details
  • Related questions about the service performed

Then upload all required after-service photos and any supporting attachments.

Select Resolution Codes and Submit

Select the applicable resolution code or codes for the work performed. What happens next depends on the resolution code selected:

βœ… Standard Resolution Code

The work order proceeds to submission with no additional asset steps required.

πŸ”„ Replacement Resolution Code

The system automatically triggers the asset replacement flow. The technician will be prompted to:

  • Select the asset that was replaced from the existing asset list
  • Enter the new asset information by creating a new asset β€” including Manufacturer, Model Number, and Serial Number

Once all required steps are complete, submit the work order to finish the workflow.
