Lessen Pro supports two types of recurring work — recurring Lessen work orders that come from Lessen ONE, and Service Plans that you create for your own customers. This article covers common questions about both.

What's the difference between a recurring Lessen work order and a Service Plan?
These are two separate types of recurring work:

🏢 Recurring Lessen Work Orders
Come from Lessen ONE and sync into Pro. You schedule and complete them, but the visit schedule is managed by Lessen.

📋 Service Plans
Your own recurring work for your own customers. You control the schedule, frequency, and billing.
|

How do I create a Service Plan?
Build the plan, choose a frequency, and activate it. Supported frequencies include:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Bi-weekly
- Monthly
- Quarterly
Work orders generate automatically once the plan is active.

My Service Plan isn't creating any work orders.
Check that the plan has been activated. Plans left in Draft status do not generate work orders.
📌 Draft plans can be deleted. Active plans cannot — activate carefully once you're ready for work orders to begin generating.

What happens if I change the frequency on an active plan?

Why can't I edit this recurring work order?
Recurring work orders sourced from Lessen ONE follow Lessen's schedule. Changes to the plan itself must go through your Affiliate Area Manager.
📋 You can still schedule, reassign, check in, and check out in Pro — only changes to the recurring plan itself require Lessen's involvement.

I got an error when scheduling a recurring work order.
Scheduling is blocked when Lessen ONE rejects the request. Try the following:
- Confirm the work order is still active in Lessen ONE and try again
- Contact your Affiliate Area Manager if the issue persists

A recurring work order was marked Missed. Can I still complete it?
Yes — you can reschedule directly from Missed status on the mobile app. The work order must still be completed within the original service window set by Lessen.

💡 Best Practice
- Activate a Service Plan only when you're ready for work orders to start generating — active plans cannot be deleted
- Schedule recurring Lessen work orders promptly — they must be completed within the service window set by Lessen
- Reschedule missed visits as quickly as possible to stay within the service window
- For changes to a Lessen-managed recurring plan, reach out to your Affiliate Area Manager
