Mobile App: Completing a Lessen Work Order

Follow this structured workflow to check in and check out of scheduled Lessen work orders from the Lessen Pro mobile app.

Overview

For Lessen work orders, follow this structured workflow to ensure accurate tracking and documentation from the moment you leave for the job to the moment you complete it.

You can access your scheduled work orders from the Work tab or the Schedule tab in the mobile app.

Accessing Lessen Work Orders

You can find your assigned Lessen work orders in two places in the mobile app:

Home Tab

From the Home tab, you can view all scheduled visits assigned to you for the current day. Select a Work Order to review its details.

Schedule Tab

Select Schedule from the bottom navigation bar to view your visits by date. Scroll left or right through the week view to navigate between weeks, then select a visit to open the Work Order and take action.


Check-In & Check-Out Process

Review Work Order Details

Before heading out, open the work order and review all available details to prepare for the job:

  • Lessen deadlines and service window
  • Issue description
  • Service location and access instructions
  • Troubleshooting questions and internal notes
  • Service History — tap Service History to review past work orders, previous technician notes, and prior service dates for added context

I'm On the Way

Tap I'm On the Way. Confirm your travel status and use the integrated directions if needed. This updates the job status and gives your dispatcher real-time visibility.

I've Arrived

Once on site, tap I've Arrived and capture an arrival photo. This confirms your on-site presence and documents the arrival time in the system.

Begin Service

Tap Begin Service to officially start work. Onsite time tracking begins at this point — make sure to tap this before doing any work.

Before Service Attachments

Upload required photos before work begins. This may include:

  • Condition photos
  • Area documentation
  • Required compliance images

Check-Out Options

When work is complete or requires next steps, select one of the following options:

✅ Work is Completed

Use when all services are finished. The job can move to invoicing.

📋 Start a Proposal

Use when additional work is identified. This allows you to create a quote before closing the job.

🔄 Return Trip Needed

Use when work cannot be completed during this visit. Select a reason and a follow-up visit must be scheduled.

Complete Lessen Checkout Questions

For Lessen work orders, you are required to complete a set of checkout questions before the visit can be fully closed. Answer all required fields, which may include:

  • Additional details about the service performed
  • Confirmation of a safe work experience
  • Notification to the resident about the post-work-order survey
  • Whether the resident was unavailable or missed the scheduled appointment
  • Any required acknowledgements

📌 Required: All checkout questions must be completed before you can tap Complete Visit and close the work order.

  • Review all troubleshooting questions before arriving on-site
  • Check Service History for repeat issues before beginning work
  • Update statuses in real time
  • Upload required photos before and after service
  • Add clear notes and accurate part information
  • Complete all required checkout questions before submission
  • Ensure return trips are scheduled promptly
