When a Lessen Work Order requires additional work beyond the original scope, you can submit a quote directly through Lessen Pro for review and approval by the Lessen team.

Make sure all quote details, pricing, and supporting documentation are accurate before submitting. Once submitted, the quote will be reviewed by the Lessen team for approval.

Open the Work Order

1. Navigate to the Work Orders page.
   
2. Filter the work orders to Quote Needed status.
3. Select the Lessen Work Order you need to quote

Navigate to the Quote Section

1. Inside the Work Order, locate the Quote tab.
2. Select one of the following option:
   
1. Use a Template
   
2. Recover
   
3. Create New One

Use A Quote Template

1. In the quote creation page, select the available quote template if one has been provided for the Work Order. Select the Use It button to proceed.
2. Review the prefilled proposal information, including:
   
1. Proposal description
2. Labor line items
3. Material costs
4. Travel charges
5. Freight charges
6. Other charges
3. Update quantities, pricing, or descriptions as needed to match the scope of work being quoted.
   
4. Add or remove line items if additional work or materials are required.
   
5. Review the proposal subtotal and summary section to confirm the quote totals are accurate before submitting. 

Create A New Quote

1. Complete the Preliminary Details section, including:
   
1. Whether a permit is required
2. Whether an asset needs to be replaced
2. In the Tasks section, select the recommended tasks that apply to the scope of work.
3. Add any additional fees if needed by selecting + Add fee.
4. Enter a detailed explanation in the Proposal Description field describing:
   
1. Why the work is necessary
2. What work is being proposed
5. Upload supporting attachments, such as:
   
1. Before and after photos
2. Vendor documents
3. Supporting files or estimates
6. Complete the Additional Details section, including:
   
1. Estimated return trip timing
2. Number of additional visits required
3. Whether an additional vendor is needed
4. Potential utility impacts
7. Review the proposal summary and pricing details for accuracy.
   
8. Select Submit Proposal to send the quote for review and approval.

Review the Quote

Review all quote details carefully and confirm the following before submitting:

• Pricing is accurate
• Quantities are correct
• Required attachments have been added
• Notes and descriptions are complete

Submit the Quote

1. Select Submit Quote.
2. Review any confirmation prompts.

Once submitted, the quote status will update and the Lessen team will review the request.
