Mobile App: Workflow & Job Management for Technicians
Understand how to navigate key areas of Lessen Pro and complete self-managed work from start to finish.
Overview
Lessen Pro is organized into three primary workflow areas on mobile:
- Home — Daily dashboard and pending actions
- Schedule — Calendar and technician visit management
- Work — Work order management and job status updates

🏠 Home Tab
Your daily overview
- View today's scheduled visits
- See pending action items
- Monitor jobs requiring attention
- Access quick workflow shortcuts (role-based access)

Quick Create Function (Role-Based Access)
Users with the appropriate permissions may see a + button in the lower right corner to quickly create an Invoice, Quote, Work Order, or Lead. Technicians and limited-access roles may not have access to this function.

Your full calendar view
- View schedules and switch between List or Map view
- Filter by date
- Tap into a visit to view details or take action
All updates sync across web and mobile.

Your job list and history
- View jobs by status
- Open individual work orders
- Update job progress and track completion
- Filter by status, location, priority, and more

Check-In & Check-Out Process
For self-managed work orders, follow this structured workflow to ensure accurate tracking and documentation.

I'm On the Way
Tap I'm On the Way, confirm travel status, and use integrated directions if needed. This updates the job status and signals dispatch visibility.

|
I've Arrived
Tap I've Arrived and capture an arrival photo. This confirms on-site presence and documents arrival time.

|
Begin Service
Tap Begin Service to officially start work. Onsite time tracking begins at this point.
|

|
Before Service Attachments
Upload required photos before work begins. This may include:
- Condition photos
- Area documentation
- Required compliance images
|

|
Check-Out Options
When work is complete (or requires next steps), select one of the following options:

✅ Work is Completed
Use when all services are finished. The job can move to invoicing.
|
|
📋 Start a Proposal
Use when additional work is identified. This allows you to create a quote before closing the job.
|
|
🔄 Return Trip Needed
Use when work cannot be completed during this visit. A follow-up visit must be scheduled.

- Update statuses in real time.
- Upload required photos before and after service.
- Avoid closing jobs without selecting the correct check-out option.
- Ensure return trips are scheduled promptly.
